I am a cultural anthropologist and now work in an interdisciplinary department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).  My research, teaching and civic work focus on environmental problems, and on developing ethnography to understand and engage the complexities of the contemporary world.
